Two steps forward, one step back… We got halfway through the solar installation to realize the panels were arranged incorrectly and highly visible from the courtyard. We’ve given the feedback to Tesla so they can come and adjust the position and tilt of the panels – however they won’t come back on site until PG&E reconnects our electric service.
Which leads me to our step backward. We are still reliant on PG&E to schedule a subcontractor to upgrade the transformer on our street – before we can connect our service. It’s been 3 weeks already and no movement forward…😕
In the meantime, the unfinished solar and electrical work will come to a standstill.
On a brighter note, the front courtyard door has been demoed and measured for a new door. We can’t wait for the bright yellow door to be installed.
