The last rooms are tiled!

Hooray! The last bit of interior tile work is completed, which means we (finally) have finished floors. Our office and the guest bedrooms were cut out of scope when we first moved in, thanks to the radiant boiler calling it quits.

The trick with finishing this tile work was getting the transitions from the already-installed hallway tile to match perfectly with the new tiles. This was especially tricky as the floor is in a perfect grid pattern, not offset, which does not allow for any wiggle room. (We like to do things the hard way…)

End result looks great and such a relief to have finished tile floors. Next on the construction list is the installation of all baseboards and then hanging closet doors. Well, maybe this fall when we have more time…
