We were searching for a weekend getaway and decided to venture north – very north – to Vancouver, British Columbia. Since we missed the winter sports season, we enjoyed a city holiday biking through Stanley Park, sipping coffee along the English Bay, and cheering on a Canadian pastime – ice hockey.

To / From the Airport:
Sorry kiddos, as of June 2016, Uber does not exist in Vancouver. Don’t fret – there are plenty of taxis at the airport to take you to downtown Vancouver.
Where to stay:
Downtown Vancouver will be the most central area with the most options. We enjoyed our stay at the Hyatt Regency, and here’s a list of top hotels in the area.
