The floor tile is installed, but sadly now covered up for protection. However, the new Eichler siding paint colors are making themselves known, e.g. “Deep Space” by Benjamin Moore.
Lots of trades on site this week, finishing interior door and ceiling trim and prepping for the last round of paint. The exterior Eichler siding has received its first coat of “Deep Space – 2125-20 by Benjamin Moore” and we quickly released the low lustre finish was too reflective. The team now is going to repaint the exterior with matte (or flat) paint. 🙁
If you are curious, here is the full Benjamin Moore paint schedule for the interior and exterior of the house:
Location | Surface | Color | Number | Sheen |
Exterior | House color / Eichler siding | Deep Space | (2125-20) | Matte |
Exterior | T&G ceilings and eaves | Decorators White | (CC-20) | Flat |
Exterior | Courtyard door | Sunbeam | (328) | Eggshell |
Exterior | Concrete wall | Cement Gray | (2112-60) | Low Lustre |
Exterior | Beams | Ultra White | (CC-10) | Pearl |
Exterior & Interior | Chimney / Fireplace | Cement Gray | (2112-60) | Low Lustre |
Interior | Eichler siding | Deep Space | (2125-20) | Matte |
Interior | T&G ceilings | Decorators White | (CC-20) | Flat |
Interior | Drywall | Ultra White | (CC-10) | Eggshell |
Interior | Interior trim (and beams) | Ultra White | (CC-10) | Pearl |
This upcoming week, we are expecting the countertops to be delivered and the electrical trim work to start. We are anxiously awaiting PGE to come on site the following week so we can finally move forward and connect to the grid.
